Simplicity is a side effect of peace. If one has peace, one is not subjected to the clutter that comes with chaos. To me, simplicity isn’t based on what one has or does not have. It just is.

Simplicity is subjective, of course, but what it is in my life, is my ability to examine my past and present, no matter how my experiences differ, and being confident enough to say, I am living. I am happy. I am free.

Everyone hits rock bottom, and we all experience temporary insanity. Everyone’s lives are somehow intermingled, woven in an entrapment of spider-webbed connections in which disaster is bound to strike. Achieving simplicity is making the active decision not to stay there, to examine one’s life and decide, what brings me peace? However, if one never questions his or her inner peace, do they ever reach simplicity?
